About Me
John Czerwieski embarked on his musical journey in DeSoto, TX, where he was an integral part of the West Junior High and DeSoto High School bands. Following his high school years, John's passion for music led him to spend two impactful summers as a member of the renowned Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps hailing from Rockford, IL.
John's dedication to his craft propelled him to academic achievements, earning him a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Baylor University and later, a Master of Music Education degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.
With an impressive background in music education, John dedicated 18 years of his life to teaching high school band programs in Texas. He held pivotal roles as Assistant Band Director at Calhoun High School in Port Lavaca, South Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, and Bowie High School in Arlington. Additionally, he served as the Director of Bands for Venus Independent School District for an impressive 8 years, leaving a lasting impact on countless students.
While John's musical journey has evolved, he has continued to excel in diverse fields. Currently, he's a distinguished REALTOR® associated with Keller Williams Realty and consistently ranks among the Top 20 KW Agents in Ellis County, TX.
Music remains an essential part of John's life. He is currently in his 17th year with the Mansfield Wind Symphony, where he serves as the Trombone Section Leader and Assistant Conductor. A significant milestone for the ensemble was their performance at the prestigious 75th Annual Midwest Clinic in Chicago in December 2021.
Beyond his professional endeavors, John shares his life in Waxahachie, TX, with his wife, Megan, who is the Head Band Director at Red Oak Middle School. They are proud parents to two rescue dogs, Daphne and Dottie, making their home a harmonious blend of music and love.
